Lunch Hour Laughs: Bad Paid For Photos

Happy snowy Thursday!  We hope you made it safely to work/school this morning and perhaps were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way!  Either that or we hope you're snuggling up keepin' a-toasty-warm at home (which does sound wonderful right about now after my drive in!  Let's just say I-95 and I are no longer friends).

Today we're bringing a chuckle to your lunch hour with some Grade-A photography.  Although I haven't seen one in years, I'm pretty sure that somewhere out there a J.C. Penny must still exist with the family photo "set" fully decked out with hanging bed sheet backdrops and massive cameras strapped to scary tripods.  And this, I'm guessing, would be where these photos came from.

This laugh comes to us from www.funnyordie.com (and you may have also seen similar photos on The Ellen Show) ...We bring you... Bad Paid for Photos.

There are some things you just can't un-see.

You had me at parasol.

Even the cat is trying to get away.

I. am. so. confused.

A ladder? Why? Just...why.

Pez: The epitome of cool.

Isn't it ironic... don't cha think?
Even more so that she also bares a striking
resemblance to Mrs. Morissette

Well, who wouldn't want to look like Bill Gates, amiright?

At what point did someone say.. yes.. this.. this will look great.

If this were taken today, would he be holding a USB flash drive?

And my favorite.. a great lesson to children everywhere.

In The Press: The Journal News

What a great way to start our week!  Yesterday we were featured in Jessica Rao's article, "What's In and Out in White Plains".  Luckly, we were the "In" :)

Huge thanks to Jessica for a great article, and to Joe Larese for our sandwich photo shoot.

Lunch Hour Laughs: Autocorrect...wha??!

Ever feel like your phone has a mind of its own?  Well, you're not the only one!  Today's laugh comes to us from www.damnyouautocorrect.com. The site posts submitted text message auto-corrected mistakes (when the phone automatically replaces a mis-spelled word with the word it 'thinks' it should be) which can be hilarious! I must warn you before visiting the actual site, some can be quite vulgar. So, here's our PG rated version... enjoy!

Probably not the best idea...

Hmm. Didn't know that was possible.

Ut oh.. That doesn't sound good.

That's a good thing??

Well that'd be an interesting channel for sure.

How to give your mom a heart attack:

Thanks a lot!!

So gangsta.

How romantic.

Um... no thanks.

And lastly.. we hope your Monday is going better than this guys!

Lunch Hour Laughs: Bottoms up!

It's time for our second installment of Lunch Hour Laughs! Because really, who couldn't use a mid-day giggle?

**Note: Enjoyment level increased if viewed while eating a Melt sandwich**

"Well you see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo and when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive drinking of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers."
Cheers!

This one comes to us courtesy of www.urlesque.com:

Hacked Stop Signs:

Um.. who can?!

Ut Oh.....

Nothin' beats the 80's!

Ice Ice baby.

Hold on to that feelin' yeah-ahhh...

You wouldn't want to break my heart would you??

But, most importantly, and a very good message we'd like to convey (in an oxymoronic sort of way...)

(Oh.. ps.. don't try this at home.. totally not legal ;)
